Background & Purpose of the Job
As the Marketing Assistant reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, building relationships and making an impact across the broader team. Being proactive, having strong communication skills and being detail oriented are key to the role.
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for coordinating among team members across multiple in-house departments, external agencies, and vendors. The Marketing Assistant will proactively manage the CMOalendar including setting up meetings, organizing travel, managing expense reports, scheduling workshops and will take a lead role in organizing company-wide initiatives. The assistant will manage the purchase order and invoice processing system for the marketing team. This encompasses working with finance and the marketing teams to ensure bills are being paid on time and budgets are being managed to quarterly targets.
The assistant will also be responsible for tracking, scheduling, and proofing creative content with the goal of identifying possible errors or places for improvement. Specific to this responsibility will be to facilitate in the creation, proofing, ordering and tracking point of sale materials. Monitoring schedules/timelines to ensure fulfillment for creative materials and coupons programs are part of this process.
Who You Are & What YouDo
- Youa strategy guru: Youmanage local & Global travel & prepare itineraries as needed for CMO, vendors, & visitors. This includes scheduling, setup and preparation of various marketing meetings onsite and offsite such as training initiatives, video presence meetings, global communication, etc.
- Youa dot connector: You will be responsible for managing the purchase order and invoice processing system for the Marketing Department This also includes coordinating with various coupon initiatives and programs working with the Brand Building Team
- Youa team player: Youprovide administrative support to the broader team as needed. Youalso Coordinate marketing projects as assigned and based on needs of the team

Ability to work with a variety of communication technology and adept at troubleshooting
Solid computer proficiency
Associates degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent organization and planning skills
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information
3+ yearsperience as an Administrator, Coordinator or equivalent
