The Aftersales Area Manager (AAM) is responsible for providing Aftersales business management expertise to BMW centers on service, parts, accessories and warranty in the assigned territory. The AAM assists in developing BMW centers' plans and targets for service, parts and body shop operations and is the liaison with National Customer Relations and the Legal Department in resolving escalated customer issues. The chosen candidate will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding market specific targets supporting parts, tires, and accessory volume growth through service retention and dealer growth. A significant portion of the role is working with the dealers to help deliver the ultimate customer experience, while maintaining satisfactory warranty and goodwill performance. The AAM is responsible for providing timely and accurate sales forecasts relative to their assigned market. The AAM also promotes and supports the implementation of Aftersales initiatives and programs such as: Service Reservations, Owner Retention/Loyalty, Advertising, Direct Mail, Service Clinics, Profiles in Achievement, etc and provides support to the Center Assistance Manager with respect to reacquired vehicles. Overnight travel estimated at 25%.
Position Specifics:
The Aftersales Area Manager, Western Region (Market 37) is located in the San Francisco Bay (North Bay and Peninsula).
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in Service and Parts Business Management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
