Aetna's Medicare Informatics Team is growing and expanding! This is an exciting time to join us as our Senior SAP Business Objects Reporting Manager.
Our Senior SAP Business Objects Reporting Manager will lead a multi-functional team responsible for the delivery of analytic projects that provide strategic solutions to our Medicare business partners. Responsible for managing, building, and maintaining all SAP Business Objects reporting for Aetna's Medicare Informatics Team. This position requires advanced technical, analytical and consultative skills and extensive knowledge of healthcare, Business Objects Reporting and information systems.
Fundamental Components:
(*) Formulates strategy and vision for SAP Business Object Reports
(*) Knowledge in BI 4.x environments
(*) Experience in Information Design Tool (IDT), Universe Design Tool (UDT) tools and Webi
(*) Responsible for enhancing existing databases and reports
(*) Makes recommendations to build a new database and build new reports to enhance Medicare Informatics
(*) Tests, Schedules and Publishes the reports on fixed schedules based on business needs
(*) Demonstrated proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) Business Objects (BO) tools and best practices
(*) Manages Reports through the Development, Test, Production process (DEV-QA-PROD)
(*) Experience in CMC to monitor and setting up the security model
(*) Experience in implementing best practices, including error handling, alerting and scheduling
(*) Strong analytical, problem-identification/solving skills, as well as strong written and oral and Communication skills
(*) Builds improvements in Monitoring and Managing Business Objects (BO) access privileges
(*) Assisting end users with day to day Adhoc needs
(*) Experience in Business Objects reporting functionalities such as Master Detailed, Slice and Dice, Drilling methodology, Filters, Ranking, Sections, Graphs and Breaks
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
(*) 10 or more years of healthcare, health insurance or relevant combination of experience
(*) Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate across the business and in the external health care environment.
(*) Strong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint.
(*) 5+ year of hands-on work experience in BI 4.x
(*) Tools: Information Design Tool (IDT), Universe Design Tool (UDT), Web Intelligence, BI Launchpad, Publications, Life Cycle Management, CMS, Dashboards
(*) Ability to work independently
EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
