The Senior Manager, Facilities Technologies is a leadership position within Capitalnformation Technology Group. The Senior Manager leads a team of managers overseeing the delivery of technology in Capitalffices globally, including new space buildouts and ongoing enhancements, facilities based infrastructure projects, audio visual technologies, and enterprise asset management.
Primary responsibilities: - Lead, develop, and manage a team of technical managers
- Establish standards and best practices for installation of IT infrastructure equipment, audio visual technology, and cabling for new and existing sites
- Define, lead, and manage facilities technology project scope - including budget, resources, and quality control of deliverables following company standards and project management best practices
- Collaborate with facilities teams, technical engineering teams, vendor partners, subcontractors, architects, and end user groups throughout project design, bid, and installation phases across sites
- Coordinate low voltage voice and data cabling infrastructure design projects, to include build-out of MDF/IDF, vertical & horizontal cable, and audio visual cabling and hardware installation
- Extensive vendor management to include contract negotiation, development of SOWs, and managing vendor execution
- Design, deploy, and support audio video technologies across sites cluding engineered conference room systems, video conferencing equipment, projectors, speakerphones, digital displays, and more
- Manage asset inventory, licensing, and utilization across multiple technology domains
Requirements: - Minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience in an enterprise environment
- Minimum 5 years of technical expertise with multiple infrastructure domains (facilities based project management, audio visual systems, cabling and hardware installation, networking, etc.)
- Direct leadership experience of IT project managers and managers
- Demonstrated ability to execute deliverables through a team of direct managers, cross-functional IT teams, and vendor partners
- Operational experience managing critical infrastructure
- Flexibility to travel (25%)
