The Global Technology team aims to bring technology and business together by empowering our Organization and Team Members to realize their ambitions, small and large. As the Senior Manager of Technology Solutions Training, you will work with OCIO leadership to define Hiltonverall training approach to support the Enterprise transformation. You will be expected to conduct training at any of the three (3) corporate U.S. locations and the Watford, UK location. The focus of this role will be to guide and manage the execution of the Enterprise training approach and assist with change management, by collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and Team Members.
What will I be doing?
As the Senior Manager of Technology Solutions Training, you will serve as a resource in the course subject matter for the Enterprise, as well as be expected to coach and guide teams and individuals. You will also work with IT staff and business partners to develop high quality and high impact training deliverables that drive IT transformation.
As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing instructor-led, webinar, WebEx and video trainings
- Leveraging your extensive knowledge of both instructional design and communications principles and practices to lead training activities
- Supporting the design, development, delivery, and management of training delivery
- Conducting team health analysis, assessing team readiness and identifying areas of growth for teams
- Consulting, coaching, and advising product and project teams on best practices and training activities to support their specific team needs
- Aligning with the Program Oversight, Governance, and Change Management teams in the definition, design, development, and delivery of training strategy
- Collaborating with all levels of leadership and stakeholder groups to align training with strategic direction
- Managing vendor contracts and deliverables

- Experience with large-scale training through IT Transformation
- Ability to proactively and independently make recommendations for interactivity and engagement
- Experience consulting with and being a liaison between vendor, colleges and clients
- Ability to relay industry specific examples to vendors to reinforce the training message
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Experience building relationships internally as well as externally (third party technologies and vendors) and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to identify impact of new programs on existing training and make appropriate recommendations for changes
Qualifications What are we looking for? To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- Minimum Education: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: five (5) years of professional experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: three (3) years in Technology Solutions
- Management Experience (type): One (1) year of Management experience; Supervisor/Manager: 1-3 People
- Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.):
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including our corporate offices in McLean, Dallas or Memphis, as needed
