Job Description Job Title: Function Training Manager for Multimedia Integration and Operations
Job Description: IIS Training Organization is currently seeking a Functional Training Manager supporting Multimedia Integration and Operations for work in the Raytheon Tewksbury, MA facility, of multiple programs. This role will provide support and tasking guidance for our diverse team of engineers, programmers, web developer and project leads to continuously develop pioneering, industry leading content for program integration. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have the ability to represent IIS as an interface with internal and external customers. Candidate will have the ability to work with little or no direct supervision and is a functional point of contact to IIS Sr. department management.
Responsibilities include: Program Execution
- Responsible for multimedia functional program performance.
- Oversee product output and scheduling adherence.
- Requirement alignment and ensuring standards (to include Process Control) are met.
- Technology performances and operational application.
Personnel Oversight
- Responsible for maintaining staffing levels to support project and program needs.
- Support and oversee Performance Development completion cycles, Timecards, training requirements, transfers, etc.
- Direct involvement and understanding of personnel tasking, contributions, professional development, and program advancement.
- Collaborate with functional management in directorate initiatives.
- Provide inputs on program highlights, staffing needs, program outlooks, and other leadership requirements as required.
Directorate Reporting and Expansion
- Oversee solution design for new pursuits.
- Showcase multimedia integration and performance demonstrations.
- Lead troubleshooting and solutioning exercises.
- Compile weekly highlights related to Program support.
- Support, in-coordination with T&LS leads, demonstrations of multimedia capabilities, customer visits, briefings, and presentations.
Other Duties as Assigned
- Provide support on an as-needed basis for special projects, such as Deep-Dives; Program analysis, technology advancement solutioning, etc.
Required Skills: - 8+ years managing programs and personnel
- Familiar with software and hardware to include (but not limited to):
- Maintenance Trainers
- Training Labs
- Programming
- Well rounded proposal understanding and support
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and production schedules as part of a team with minimal supervision and direction.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Self-motivated, able to budget time on large, multi-faceted tasks
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Works on multiple projects as a functional manager and support project teams.
- Familiar with maintenance training / operations / game design and integration / multiplayer / programming / multimedia or related field.
Desired Skills: - Demonstrate understanding and application of Instructional Design concepts in-conjunction with gaming, multiplayer, virtual reality, augmented reality and Computer Based Technology.
- DoD experience preferred
- Generation and tracking of hardware and software requirements, validation testing, defect tracking and analysis, customer acceptance and sell off activities
- Experience with Large scale air defense programs, operations, maintenance and training software
- SW programs; DOORs, iTracker, WebSIR, iETMS, Sequel Database, RGEMs, Common PDM, CCB approvals, EPIC, ELF
- MS Project, Power Point, Excel, etc
- Test Equipment; DMM, Oscilloscope, Power Meter, Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzer operations
Education: BS Electrical Engineering or related field
Masters preferred
