The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in a specific region. Manages and directs Outside Sales Consultants toward the achievement of PWI sales goals for maximum growth. Works closely with PWI's internal departments to develop and execute plans to ensure superior delivery of products and services.
Responsibilities and Duties: - Establish and communicate monthly revenue goals.
- Manage and direct outside sales team through hiring, direct supervision, evaluations, development, coaching, and training, as determined appropriate.
- Ensure regular schedule of customer visits by Outside Sales Consultants to provide the best customer service for new and existing customers.
- Ensure documentation of all activity in the company's CRM system by Outside Sales Consultants.
- Work closely with PWI's Dealer Services Department to provide superior service to customers.
- Work closely with marketing contact for the launch and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Research competitors' services and products, and industry trends and news to maintain competitive advantage for the company.
- Serve as subject matter expert on PWI's sales processes, products, and services.
- Responsible for handling of marketing items (i.e. brochures, promotional items, etc.) and customer checks and other financial documents.
- Review and approve expense reports.
- Service and educate customers in the absence of Outside Sales Consultant.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
Four (4) year business degree preferred. Prior experience in sales (1-3 years) as well as the automotive and financial services industry is preferred. Minimum 3 to 5 years management experience leading an outside sales team. Familiarity with customer relationship management tools is preferred. Position requires demonstrated leadership, coaching, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Valid motor vehicle operator is required. Telephone, computer, standard office equipment.
Physical and Visual Requirements
Position requires walking, sitting, and standing. Driving automobile to customer premises is required. Air travel (approximately 70%) is also required as necessary to attend meetings and/or work in person with Outside Sales Consultants.

Varying climates, weather conditions, and walking surfaces, inside and outside.
