Role Summary/Purpose Responsible for providing support during Automated Breast Ultrasound customer implementation
and ongoing customer success in USCAN region. The ABUS Implementation Consultant is
expected to work with the GE Automated Breast Ultrasound installed base customers as they
launch their ABUS Service Line. They will manage the impact of technology implementation in
order to optimize clinical, financial, and operational success of the ABUS program.
Essential Responsibilities This individual will develop a criteria for assessing current customer satisfaction, measure current
state, and develop a set of priorities for engaging with customers to meet their goals.
Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical inservicing
and go-live support. Responsible for providing support during Automated Breast
Ultrasound customer implementation and ongoing customer success in USCAN region. The
ABUS Implementation Consultant is expected to work with the GE Automated Breast Ultrasound
installed base customers as they launch their ABUS Service Line. They will manage the impact of
technology implementation in order to optimize clinical, financial, and operational success of the
ABUS program. This individual will develop a criteria for assessing current customer satisfaction,
measure current state, and develop a set of priorities for engaging with customers to meet their
goals.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Owns IB database to ensure information is current and complete
- Owns and manages an IB dashboard establishing key metrics around customer's definition of
success and outcomes metrics
- Leverages existing workflow tools and cross functional teams post sale to ensure customers are
meeting established goals
- Shares customer best practices and generates new tools and tactics based on key learnings
- Works with large hospital systems and corporate accounts strategically to show benefit across the
system and influence adoption by more sites
- Generates business cases studies and outcomes reports for strategically selected sites (like
HCA, VA, etc.).
- Plays a role in Leading our ABUS Users Club (annual meetings and online forum)
- Helps support IB communications like EOL, and upgrade opportunities
- Use performance management skills to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and
customer service strategies
- Develop systematic process for addressing common customer challenges with actions for
customers to implement change and achieve success
- Produce well-written post-sales reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs
Qualifications/Requirements 1.Bachelor's degree preferred in related business or technical/clinical field
2.2-5 years of consulting experience in related industry
3.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, ability to deliver simplified messages to a
diversified target audience from Academic, to clinical to technical and be able to get the message
through.
4.Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to occasional
nationwide or international sites.

6.Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally
and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional
organizations)

propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)
8.Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members
and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)

Desired Characteristics 1.5-10 years of consulting experience in related industry
2.Experience managing a clinical department and implementing new clinical technology
3.Professional clinical/technical certifications/registries (Mammography or Breast Ultrasound i.e.
ARRT or ARDMS)
4.Minimum of 5 years clinical/ technical experience following certification with demonstrated
clinical/technical skill in specific Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
5.Experience in large hospital/university setting preferred
