Automotive Aftermarket Group Program / Channel Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales strategies with automotive aftermarket group program headquarters, development and execution of sales channel strategies with cross-functional department leaders and effectively communicating sales strategies to the sales team. The program group / channel manager drives results through development and execution of focused sales programs, promotions, fact based selling strategies, analyzing channel market place opportunities, contract maintenance, program compliance, negotiations and sales management updates within given sales channels. Responsibilities and Duties/Essential Duties
- Group Headquarters Sales Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and execute program group business strategies and plans that mutually meet company and customer goals
- Lead major program projects by coordinating internally with appropriate cross-functional business units.
- Contract development, program compliance and maintenance
- Work with Business Insights team leaders and customer program group headquarters on market analysis to identify potential areas of growth opportunities
- Work with program group headquarters to develop and execute specific and targeted sales promotions.
- Develop sales proposals to gain market share
- Prepare and present fact based quarterly business reviews to group program headquarters and align on quarterly sales, marketing and promotional objectives
- Plan and attend all group trade shows and utilize interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with company, customer and industry personnel
- Channel Sales responsibilities
- Cross departmental and co-development of category go-to-market strategies
- Primary sales lead for all other departments as it relates to sales execution
- Work cross-functionally to ensure sales teams have all proper execution tools from introduction to changeover tools to pull through programs
- Co-development of customer incentive programs and sales training needs
- Coordinate the development of fact based sales tools to gain placement and/or defend companies market position
- Lead monthly sales webinars from coordination of content to presentation
- Assist Sales VP on special projects as needed

Qualifications - Minimum 5-yearsperience in Automotive Aftermarket successfully developing programs for customers and sales teams

- Self-starter; must demonstrate ability to develop and / or execute business and sales plans.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Power Point
- Highly analytical
- Ability to travel 15% to 25% of the time.
