We are working with an established national food & beverage manufacturing company that is looking for a high level Plant Manager. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the safety, quality & productivity of the plant.

Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Directs, manages & coordinates all production operations, safety, quality, productivity and financial objectives
• Works closely with Quality Assurance, Compliance, HR, Purchasing, R&D, etc.
• Adhere to all Quality, OSHA & GMP policies and procedures
• Promote a continuous improvement culture
• Ensures products are completed on schedule and within Safety & Quality Food Regulatory Standards and Compliance. As well as plant safety, & audits.
• Develop, manage and maintain relationships with customers and potential customers
• Responsible for establishing operating procedures to meet and/or exceed established targets
• Identify equipment needs to improve operational efficiencies
• Knowledge of proper operating procedures for all necessary equipment within the department
• Ensures compliance to Quality, Safety, GMP, as well as company policies & procedures
• Responsible for hiring, training, developing, coaching and reviewing performance of employees
• Travel as needed: up to 25% of the time
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Qualifications (including but not limited to):

• Bacheloregree in related area is required
• Must have 5+ years of plant management experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment; dairy manufacturing is strongly preferred
• 7+ years of management experience with a proven background in staff development & training is required
• Must have experience dealing with facility budgets & cost control
• Consistent, dependable and diligent in performing tasks
• Needs to have a valid Drivericense
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evening weekends and holidays
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required
• Needs to have strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office and programs
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment background, drug and criminal screens
