Position Description: Summary of Accountabilities: The Wissahickon Hospice Team (Nurse) Manager is responsible for the financial and administrative operations of the hospice nursing team for Wissahickon Hospice and development of hospice and the c. way program. S/he is also responsible for the assisting with the development of other Home Care and Hospice Shared Services such as Home Care Central Intake and Admission process. Along with operational responsibilities, the incumbent will develop manage the activities of the hospice and c. way nursing teams, and support the development, implementation, evaluation and coordination of hospice nursing practices and policies across all Home Care business lines.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an NLN approved school of professional nursing. Currently licensed as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Must have Basic Life Support certification.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required with MSN or advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of management experience, preferably in the Home Care/Hospice/Health Care facility.
Possession of car, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
