Reporting to the Director of Strategic Risk Governance & Monitoring, the RCA Manager is responsible for helping to assess strategic risk across the company as well as business line risk within Strategy and Corporate Affairs by:
Participate in the independent risk assessment of the Companyhree-year strategic plan as part of the annual planning process
Participate in monitoring programs and strategic risk oversight activities to evaluate, escalate and report on strategic risk
Evaluate and continue to strengthen controls to ensure appropriate policies, procedures, training and monitoring is in place and being complied with for strategic risk
Partner with Enterprise Strategy and Analytics Business to oversee the successful implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework
Lead Enterprise Data Governance activities as relates to the Strategic Scorecard to ensure compliance with applicable policies and guidance
Lead projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.
Ensure the active identification, response and/or escalation of risks as appropriate.
Accountable for an effective partnership with the Enterprise Strategy and Analytics Business Unit
Qualifications Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bacheloregree, or equivalent work experience
7-10 years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
Preferred skills/experience Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
Advanced knowledge of the business lineperations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
