Job Description Summary
Directs production operations for plant by performing the following duties:
- Know and follow the five daily plant fundamentals: Safety ality oductivity usekeeping eventive Maintenance.
- Coordinates production in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the company.
- Assists Plant Manager with developing plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
- Reviews product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revise schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Education / Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Our Production Supervisor should possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities, a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation and the desire and focus to improve the business.
