Zions is seeking a Data Quality Manager to lead the day to day operations of the Data Quality Management Team, including guiding long term data quality strategy across the enterprise; assess current processes for effectiveness and build repeatable, efficient processes for data quality analysis, baselining, gap analysis, troubleshooting and resolution; making technology recommendations for analysis and reporting; and work cross functionally with various stakeholders and teams to design and implement solutions.
Candidate must have a proven track-record leading technical teams in a fast paced environment; have very strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a clear track record of data analytics and solving technical puzzles; have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and understanding tradeoffs; be comfortable in dynamic environments with ambiguity, creating structure where little existed; have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships within the company
The Data Quality Manager reports to, and will be working with the Data Governance Manager who is accountable for the data governance framework implemented in the Company and responsible for coordinating data governance activities of the Company.
Principal Accountabilities: - Develop and implement the data quality strategy, policy and governance.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure robust business cases are developed for remediating data quality issues and coordinate the program of remediation work, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Evaluate internal and external data quality tools/techniques and introduce best practice. Develop an understanding of emerging technologies and approaches through participation in industry forums.
- Develop and implement engagement and communications activates to generate awareness and buy-in to sustainably improve data quality across the Company.
- Own the definition, maintenance and governance of data quality standards.
- Identify and establish data quality metrics and targets (including threshold levels), in conjunction with Data Stewards and Data Owners, ensuring they are embedded in business area plans.
- Undertake production data quality monitoring to identify quality issues, and perform root cause and source data error analysis to determine their priority.

- Experience of working in a data or analytical environment to produce insight that is used to derive commercial value.
- A good understanding of current data quality techniques and principles with knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Experience of introducing & governing metrics and quality targets within a data team.
- Ability to introduce policies and processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience of building strong relationships and gaining consensus in multi-disciplined cross functional teams operating across several business areas.
- Experience of leading staff either as a line manager, project manager or managing a virtual team.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage the delivery of multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team to deliver improvement projects.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality, and the ability to see the ger pictureli>
- Strong technical skills, including SQL, database management, etc.
- Requires a Bacheloregree and 8 or more years of experience with data warehouse,
- business intelligence and analytics.

- Experience working in business analysis or a functional support role would be advantageous.
