GENERAL FUNCTION A leader within the LensCrafters organization. Deliver key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story with Macy's & ensures flawless execution of the customer experience, recruits & hires brand right associates with a passion for optics, coaches & develops associates in order to prepare bench strength for the region/company, & lastly seamlessly links the doctor & retail functions together within a hosted environment.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Convey a commitment to provide unsurpassed Customer Service, ensure the team performs the Sales & Service Process and Patient & Customer Journey
- Demonstrate high-level of selling skills through direct sales & lead by example
- Provide effective on-the-job training & guidance to team members
- Deliver clear, motivating & constructive feedback in a timely manner
- Confront problems directly & without delay; initiate appropriate disciplinary action when necessary & follow up to monitor progress
- Drive profitable personal sales, model the way & foster a retail selling culture
- Analyze store financial data & make recommendations regarding steps to implement for improve profitability
- Strive to achieve far exceeds expectations on all targets set
- Deliver the key performance indicators by inspiring associates to provide the customer experience that exceed expectations
- Recruit, select, develop & retain high caliber staff
- Execute & on-board team to guidelines
- Interview candidates to keep a bench of possible replacement candidates
- Perform additional duties to include payroll, inventory management, technical application & understanding
- Complete & file in a timely manner all necessary store & customer paperwork being thorough & exact in detail
- Lead OD & Host business partnership & co-planning
- Adhere to all company policies & procedures
- Prepare & execute physical inventory per company guidelines
- Execute to guidelines LC Inventory Management System & Order tracker as a part of global POS
- Ensure approved safety programs are implemented & maintained consistently per standards, creating a safe working environment for all
- Lead by example in demonstrating safe work practices
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - HS diploma or equivalent
- State licensure
- 3 years as a high performing optical associate or non-optical retail supervisory experience (or equivalent experience as a LensCrafters Assistant Manager)
- Demonstrated high-level selling skills
- Passionate with a high-level of energy focused on impeccable customer service
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Knowledge of operations, processes & business implications

- Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

- Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - College degree or equivalent
- LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification
- LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program
- Previous experience in customer service & retail
