As the Communications (Comms) Planning Manager, you will act as an internal expert throughout the entire Strategic Communications Process, including Communications Strategy, Activation, Tactical Planning and Implementation and Measurement. You will be the conduit between the brand teams and the agency teams to ensure that all Comms Plans are addressing and measuring business objectives and that tactical plans ladder to the overall Comms Strategy. In this role, you will also work with the h to Purchase Digital Team understand the digital landscape to bring new innovative digital thinking to the brands based on the Communications Objectives.
Key Responsibilities - Accountable for providing strategic thinking to the brands through the entire Communications Planning Process, including local market knowledge that will expand across Europe and N. America.
- Ability to translate Insights into Communications Strategy that will be brought to life through Activations and Tactical Media and Digital Plans.
- Aptitude to help advise brand teams on Communication Objectives that marry to overall Business Objectives; candidates should know as much about the business as brand teams to support them throughout the process.
- Clear understanding of the KPIs needed to pay off Communication Objectives and then the ability to partner with CMI (Consumer Market Insights) to align on a measurement strategy.
- Drive Comms Strategy and roll-out strategy/ toolkit for Power brands where the US is not the lead market.
- Spearhead the oversight of the initial IMP plan coming out of the Strategic. Communication Plan and ensure revisions ladder to the overall Comms Strategy and KPIs.
- Assist lead agencies in navigating across the RB Organization throughout Communication Process, including CMI, Digital PTP Team, and Brand Teams, locally and globally.
- Works with internal Digital PTP Team to ensure digital is at the core of brand plans across the entire spectrum of the Path to Purchase, including Search, Social, eCRM, etailing, eShopper, Mobile, etc.
- Drive agency to optimize Comms Plans to ensure KPI goals.
- Bring key learnings from brand activations back to the Media and Digital Team to drive insight efficiencies and best practices.
- Align with brand teams to ensure seamless communication between integrated agency teams responsible for Communications Plans, i.e. media, digital, creative, PR, etc.
- Work with Digital Teams, internal and external, to bring to the brand teams new innovative st to marketportunities that will be breakthrough for RB and are in line with Communication Objectives.
