Here's what you can expect as a Product Manager at DaVita:
Product Managers are the conduit for requirements between our customer community, product management team, clinical operations, and development team in a highly collaborative and complex clinical environment. In addition to defining product requirements and specification to drive the engineering development process, Product Mangers also actively participate in the take-to-market strategy to assure product success.
Product Managers are responsible for transforming business objectives and domain specific marketing requirements into actionable engineering stories, actively participate in the sprinting process and drive cost, content and planning trade-offs throughout the development cycle. Product Manager work closely with clinical product management, technical, and architecture leads in developing product concepts and technology road map.
In addition to upstream activities, Product Managers also participate in roll-out and pilot program assessment - working closely with field operations, documentation, and product road-mapping.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve role of product lead in an agile with scrum development methodology developing software: define Epics, Features and User stories, actively participate in Kaizen and Sprint process and manage cost, feature, and schedule trade-offs throughout the development cycle
Effectively interface with cross-functional teams of clinical domain experts, Product Directors, program management, and application development teams in a new product development/enhancement process
Prioritize product fixes and enhancements based on input from customer
Work with developers and QA Engineers to produce and test new features and fixes
Become a product expert and subject matter expert on a portfolio of clinical protocol products
Other duties as assigned.
