POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager is charged with the responsibility to create and supervise the implementation of marketing programs and public relations efforts for BRRH. The Marketing Manager will supervise larger product lines within the facility with regards to marketing and public relations initiatives and provide departmental support and supervision in the absence of the Vice President. Marketing Manager will interface with senior team and other Hospital management as requested by the Vice President. The Marketing Manager will also supervise the content and updates of the hospital's external website as well as have responsibility for Hospital social media platforms. The Marketing Manager will also serve as Hospital spokesperson when warranted and perform Public Information Officer duties when required.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Have basic mathematical skills.
- Have strong leadership skills.
- Have the ability to work in Adobe.
- Knowledgeable in the discipline of brand management or product line development.
- Knowledgeable in financial analysis to demonstrate ROI on marketing plans and revenue generation.
Have proven ability to supervise others.
- Demonstrate mastery in the areas of marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, marketing research, internet marketing and physician relations, writing, proofing, social media and media relations and presentation skills.
- Develop effective strategies and plans to build and support the BRRH brand(s) including implementation steps for goal attainment
- Create, present and implement high impact marketing and public relations plans for service lines
- Work directly with related vendors to promote service lines
- Be able to coordinate and manage diverse departmental functions related to event management
- Participate in TV/video production
- Effectively motivate and coach team members
- Successfully pitch new and innovative ideas for service lines
- Expected to manage a budget
- Collaborate with Department Managers in determining budgetary components of the annual marketing plan to align with department initiatives and goals
- Provide oversight to other departmental functions as requested by Vice President.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
AND
- Two to six years progressive experience in marketing and public relations in a hospital or healthcare setting
Licensure/Regulation/Certification:
- Valid Florida drivers license
