As an EBS Project Manager, you are responsible for duties related to managing a successful project. You must successfully manage, monitor, and control all phases of the project. You must demonstrate various levels of strategic planning including identifying project requirements, establishing clear and achievable objectives, coordination and adapting the specifications and approach to the different concerns and expectations of various stakeholders, and adhere to the Micron project standards.
This is a strategic role that requires collaboration with EBS Solution Managers and business stakeholders to ensure business needs are met. This includes understanding how a project impacts the strategic roadmap of the business and aligning project execution to help achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities and Tasks: - Build strong relationships within EBS to understand the business challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute projects
- Create a collaborative partnership among EBS leaders and business stakeholders
- Enable resource planning, change management, and project pipeline planning decisions
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 5 yearsperience in I.T. or Business Solution implementation
- Ability to blend traditional project management principles with an Agile approach to help our teams bring complex projects to completion
- Knowledge and experience with formal project/program management methodologies
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Strong ability to lead without authority and influence others
- The ability to drive cultural change and the understanding of change principles
- Historical success in navigating cross-functional/cross segment, enterprise teams and a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated effectiveness in managing the identification and deployment of innovation
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
Education: - B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems (M.I.S.), Computer Science,
- B.S. degree in Business
- Certification in PMP or Project Management related Certification
- Certified Agile Project Manager or Agile Project related Certification
