ResourceMFG Search Group is very excited to present the following opportunity for a Production Manager in the Lucerne Valley California area. Our client needs a Production Manager to join their growing team.
Responsibilities: - Ensure maximum equipment capacity usage through continuous monitoring and improvement of process control parameters and procedures.
- Responsible for managing of all departments and operations of the plant.
- Recommending operational/control changes.
- Collect and analyze data to correct deviations; including statistical process control. Work with department heads to make necessary changes to process programs and equipment to maintain the quality and efficient production of the product.
- Assist in directing the day to day activities of the production department personnel. Develop and conduct/coordinate training programs for production personnel to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the production department. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and process control plans/procedures for continuous process improvement.
- Assist in the development of and adherence to annual goals for all phases of plant operations including production/quality, efficiency, and manpower utilization.
- Work with other departments: maintenance, quality control, mining, environmental and safety to promote a safe work environment for employees and coordinated plant operations to meet or exceed plant goals.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in progress or chemical engineering is preferred but not mandatory to those disciplines.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- 5+ years previous cement industry experience.
- Solid understanding of crushing, grinding, blending, kiln processing including refractory repair/replacement, cooling, and material conveyance.
- Work experience must include troubleshooting, process studies, in-field measurements, and calculations.
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions based on a thorough analysis of available data/information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to clearly convey information and ideas to individual or groups.
- Working knowledge of PC operation and software.
- Operations run 24/7. Must have the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
