High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and two yearsrk experience in customer service

Responsibilities The Financial Aid Assistant in this position provides excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and administration regarding all aspects of financial aid. Serves as the initial contact for students and parents, providing information and guidance regarding the financial aid process. The duties include, but are not limited to: greet walk-in customers; answer phones and respond to visitors, staff and alumni with general financial aid questions determining front line or the next level attention needed; respond to emails and assist students and faculty with Banner and online form questions; review and inform customers of financial aid status; download and verify application information; collect, route or process incoming documents; assist with student notification; provide students with information regarding types of financial aid and qualifications required; assist with orientation and registration and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Grade: 9
Salary: $12.13/hr - $13.61/hr
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
