Job Description

McKinley is looking for a motivated and energetic Compliance Manager / Affordable Housing Supervisor to join our team at The Villages of Taylor located in Taylor, MI!

Position Information:

• Management of The Villages of Taylor Compliance Office
• Partnering and supporting our apartment communities to ensure compliance with affordable housing rules and regulations (mainly Section 8 and tax credit)
• Ensuring compliance with HUD for our in-house affordable housing program (mainly Section 8)
• Accurate and timely completion of annual recertificationas required by HUD
• Completion of interim rent adjustments, as requested by residents
• Knowledge of HUDIV system
• Executing repayment agreements for residents with unreported income
• Knowledge of special claims and voucher submissions
• Analyzes special requests from residents
• Interprets, implements and oversees adherence to company standards and applicable laws

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of HUD policies and procedures
• General audit experience required, MOR experience preferred
• Certified Occupancy Specialist certificate required
• Previous leadership responsibility required
