DESCRIPTION Develop and apply statistical theory and methods to data processing to prepare for marketing mix analysis, working closely with manager, based on understanding of client needs for quantitative analysis of marketing effectiveness. Collect, organize, and manipulate data inputs, applying statistical theories and methods. Develop and test model specifications to meet client needs. Develop and estimate statistical models working closely with manager. Prepare deliverables and presentation decks for client under supervision of manager. Write SAS, Python and SQL code to read input data and present results in business meaningful formats. Develop PowerPoint decks that report results. Use library of company code and presentation templates to assist with all phases of projects, including data readers, model specifications, automated modeling tools and websites. Send analysis results to client, and clarify technical questions with client on methodology used to obtain results. Assist in managing project timelines, and client communications and interactions. Supervise, coach and mentor 1 Senior Analyst. Involves the opportunity to telecommute from home from within the San Francisco, CA area up to 2 days per week, as feasible. Tools used include: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) SQL, Python, R and C/C++.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: - Masteregree in statistics, econometrics, mathematics, operations research, industrial engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent degree acceptable), plus 1 year of experience in media analysis or marketing (would also accept a bacheloregree plus 3 years of experience).
- Any level of experience in and/or knowledge of:
- Development and application of applied statistical and quantitative analysis and modeling;
- performing mathematical formulations to solve business problems;
- writing SAS code to read, audit and review raw input data and create meaningful data transformations to normalize, align and scale data to address specifics of a clientusiness;
- media planning and/or marketing mix modeling;
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- SQL, Python, R and C/C++ programming languages;
- client relationship management;
- preparing client presentations; and
- making presentations to clients.
