Must Have: - Bachelor's degree is required;
- 3+ years of experience in a materials role in a high volume and process oriented environment;
- 2+ years of direct supervision in manufacturing;
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, purchasing, and supply chain management;
- Incoming materials experience preferred - both outsourcing and insourcing of material;
- BOM and MRP systems including Syteline, SAP Oracle, etc;
- Lean, Six Sigma methods knowledge;
- Exemplary communication skills;
Key Responsibilities: - Will have 2 direct reports and will interface with operations, engineering, and quality;
- Driving continuous improvement, change management and teamwork to optimize operations, specifically driving material savings year over year;
- Managing raw material, packaging materials and WIP inventory levels;
- Leading the SIOP process for the plant;
- Maintaining a professional relationship with vendors;
- Ordering and expediting of general items purchased;
- Managing production planning and scheduling against forecast;
