The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) team is looking for an energetic and determined leader to shape the future of the Cyber Security Engineering organization.
This is a high visibility position to develop the work force to support the Cyber Security Engineering activities for the LM Aero Enterprise.
Responsibilities include: LM Aero Cyber Security Engineering program workforce management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations) and personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions).
Management responsibility will include alignment with the LM Aero Lines-of-Business (LOBs), Aeronautics Programs, other Business Units, and Industry. The successful candidate will be expected to support communication with all levels of employees, customers, and industry.
Support the pursuit and management of internal research and development activities that align with the CSE objectives. Support technology evaluation efforts to determine applicability of insertion of technologies into LM Aero Program and Platforms.
Strong skills in conflict resolution, proactive communication, building collaborative relationships and other t skillse highly desired.
The selected candidate will fill a critical function within a dynamic team to provide properly trained work force to the F-35 Program and over time will provide personnel to other Lines-of-Business (LOBs) within the LM Aero Business Area in the area of Cyber Security Engineering.
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with previous experience managing groups of mulit-functional disciplined engineers working local and remote. Previous program management experience working in dynamic environments with a working understanding of earned value management objectives is highly desired.
Some travel will be required; however, this position is located in Ft. Worth, TX.
Must be a US citizen. This position works in a facility that requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent is required
Experience with Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
Experience with Workforce Management activities (recruitment, training, merit, career development, etc.).
Desired skills Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
Previous human resource recruitment experience
Strong communication skills, able to communicate on all levels both orally and in writing
Previous successful management experience
Demonstrated history of building effective relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders
Demonstrated process improvement and optimization
Previous experience as a Cost Account Manager and/or a working understanding of Earned Value
Active Secret Security Clearance
DoD 8570 Baseline Certifications (CISSP, Security+)
