Job Title Manager, Operations Research - NBCSports - GolfNow

Responsibilities The Manager of Operations Research is part of GolfNow's Revenue Management team. The manager will be responsible for developing and managing science based revenue management systems that focus on Price Optimization, Inventory Management, Marketing Optimization/Measurement and Revenue and Operations Forecasting.
Job Duties - Utilize statistical modeling and mathematical optimization models to develop and refine revenue management models congruent to the evolving business on an ongoing basis. This will include internal model development along with collaboration on vendor developed solutions.
- Collaborate with the Information Technology & Data Analytics team for implementing the finalized revenue management models into production.
- Train revenue managers on the revenue management models and how to best incorporate the system recommendations into pricing decisions.
- Establish, monitor, communicate, and apply performance KPIs for the revenue management models.
- Troubleshoot forecast and optimization anomalies to explain and/or refine models to reduce these anomalies.
- Assist in developing revenue-enhancing strategies to drive optimal decision making and to increase operating cash flow.

Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent is required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or related area.
- Experience with statistical and optimization modeling.
- Experience with data & analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, or R.
