Job Description Summary The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Manager (SPM) is to provide senior-level guidance during the creation of program/project scoping, timelines and budgets, as well as to manage overarching, consolidated program budgets and work-back schedules throughout the life of a client's program/project. The SPM acts as the senior agency advocate on accounts, monitoring overall program scope creep and providing detailed oversight of project transactions. The SPM works closely with Finance and Client Services to provide recommendations on monthly revenue recognition and agency write-offs and reasons.
Additionally, the SPM is heavily involved in RFPs. The SPM is responsible for scoping the RFP response, including the development of spec work, and managing the delivery of the RFP to an approved budget.
Qualifications Requirements - 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Marketing agency experience
- Skilled in developing program/campaign work breakdown structures, creating timelines and driving successful execution of programs/campaigns, on-quality, on-budget and on-schedule
- Skilled in collaborating with team members to create program/campaign estimates aligned with proposed scopes of work
- Skilled in program/campaign and project financial management and analysis
- Skilled in successfully managing programs/campaigns with multiple complex projects, components and deliverables
- Experience managing RFP/pitch process
- Experience managing and successfully developing direct reports
- Experience with Workamajig, Advantage, NetSuite OpenAir, Clients + Profits or other integrated operations tools a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Work performed in an office and outdoor settings.
- Demonstrated ability to make rational decisions in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Demonstrated ability to defuse situations which may become a threat to the security of the facility, guest or associates.
- Accurate judgments of human intentions and motives
- Required to lift up to a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk and move about facilities.
- Physical contact may be required
- High levels of stress may be associated with this position
