As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager in our Image Guided Therapy Business You will have the responsibility to support and continuously improve current manufacturing processes, through technical and process innovation for the manufacture of disposable medical devices that save lives and limbs.
Your Team
The Manufacturing Engineering team is a dynamic group of individuals with diverse strengths working together to continuously deliver solutions to meet the needs of our production customers. You are responsible for
- Accountable for the preparation and execution of one or more manufacturing production processes to deliver to deliver safe, compliant, quality products and services to our customers. This can be both in-house as outsources activities.
- Leads the production unit, related processes and staff in the execution of activities that lead to world-class operational performance.
- Ensures manufacturing performance, volume, quality and cost goals are met by utilizing efficient methods and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Manages an deploys the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to the policies, procedures and standards related to environmental, health and safety and quality, risk and regulations.
- Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials including preparation of investment plans.
- Executes and/or support projects, goals, and metrics and drive continues improvement efforts.
- In charge of manufacturing finish goods to be deliver on time with the proper quality to Customers
- Responsible for the Continuous Improvement in her/his sector.
- Monitor team and individual performance.
- Maximize manufacturing performance metrics like productivity, cost of non-Quality, equipment utilization and overall efficiency.
- Interact very closely with the planning, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure the operators and technicians follow proper procedures and ensure product quality.
- Conducts and presents analyses of production and process data to support improvements.
- Has a strong understanding of organizationroducts and services.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all business functions including Manufacturing, Production Planning and Sourcing.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Identifies, understands, and manages risks.
- Knowledge of relationship to other processes and process areas in the P2FG and O2C area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication and leadership skills.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Four-year degree required, preferably in Engineering.
- Typical experience required is 10+ years as an Engineer in a related field.
- Deep process validation knowledge and medical device or pharmaceutical experience is required.
- Statistical analysis skill set is required
- Supervises, selects, develops, coaches and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient manufacturing. Previous management (direct reports) a must
- A demonstrated ability to plan and run projects is highly desired.
