The Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for managing multiple Programs/Software Product development projects, services and/or key initiatives, within engineering.
Responsibilities: - Work closely with engineering managers, technical leads and product managers to drive project planning and execution of multiple complex software development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups across FireEye thru the Product life cycle, from definition to successful delivery of releases.
- Manage cross team dependencies, and coordinate cross-team initiatives and blocker issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing Project Management Best practices, tools and templates within engineering.
- The position reports to the Director of Program/Project Management.
Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
- 4-6 years of technical program management experience successfully managing multiple Programs/Software product releases.
- Domain experience with security, networking or cloud preferred.
Additional Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of project management tools, process and best practices
- Experience with software development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus.
- Team player
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PMP/Agile certification a plus.
