Position Overview: As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for Grand Rounds solutions. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the Grand Rounds expert on buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel in terms of differentiated solutions.
Responsibilities: - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Grand Rounds solutions in the market
- Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
- Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for Grand Rounds products
- Create differentiated product marketing platforms for our two products, Beacon and Summit
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies and tactics in collaboration with Sales Enablement, Sales, Accounts and other marketing functions; develop positioning, targeting and messaging; support campaign strategy and growth plans
- Gain and maintain an intimate knowledge of our buyers and their most pressing challenges, through market analysis, research and direct buyer/influencer interaction
- Become our internal expert on competitive landscape and offerings; use this intelligence to identify product and go-to-market strategies that are unique to Grand Rounds
- Develop product collateral characterized by compelling and relatable narratives that engage buyers and impress our unique capabilities; create content, e.g., sales presentations, ROI tools, proposals, workflows, case studies, white-papers, competitive briefs, FAQs, positioning guides, etc.
- Communicate the value proposition of our product portfolio to Sales and develop tools and training that support sales enablement
Qualifications: - 5+ years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a Go to Market facing role
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Fast learner, decisive, able to readily assimilate and apply a keen understanding of the buyer to go-to-market strategies
- A results-driven creative thinker with a strong bias toward seeing ideas through to successful execution
- Able to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver actionable business insights; experience using data and analytics to tell a story around offerings
- Comfortable with fast-paced environments and rapidly changing prioritiesHighly developed attention to detail, organizational skills, eye for consistency
- Bachelor's in business or marketing
- Willing to travel as needed
In your first 30 days:
- Onboard with the Grand Rounds teams in San Francisco, Maine and Reno, and engage in internal learning
- Quickly develop an understanding of where we sit within healthcare /health benefits, our offerings, our key audiences and value propositions thereof
- Quickly develop an understanding of our products and become highly knowledgeable with our offerings
- Develop internal resource network
In Your First 60 Days:
- Meet with customers along with the sales or accounts team to further understand our customers
- Work with Sales Enablement to inventory current collateral and prioritize the update/creation of material
- Complete a comprehensive competitive analysis of the market
In Your First 90 Days:
- Demonstrate execution against defined objectives and metrics
- Design customer lifecycle journey to support account acquisition, growth and renewal
