As a Senior Product Manager youresponsible for strategically planning, organizing and leading the Skin Substitute product category from conceptual stage through the product life-cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. You will analyze competition, trends, and market performance in order to continually develop the product portfolio and work closely with upstream product development counterparts; develop and support/lead Medline sales representative training and promotional meeting content; work closely with the TR reimbursement and health economics team to expand product utilization, and work with suppliers to understand cost structure and key variables to lower costs and source new products.

What will you do? - Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for skin substitute category that is integrated with the overall TR marketing campaign. Analyze sales trends and the impact of competitive strategies.
- Establish credibility as the expert in the skin substitute market. This includes the competitor landscape and competitive product assessment, key clinical uses, reimbursement and economic impact, and forward looking trends.
- Develop and champion annual and strategic planning processes. Prepare product forecasts to include revenue and cost expectations. Analyze sales trends and impact of competitive strategies. Support forecasts and budgets with appropriately detailed marketing plans. Review monthly financial performance and determine contributing factors. Offer solutions to detrimental sales or cost trends.
- Understand sales force needs via time spent with all levels of the sales organization and combine with market research on user needs. Translate that into requirements for customer engagement activities and content for digital media, marketing material, or sales tools.
- Work closely with upstream marketing partners to develop and implement an integrated product launch by channel including developing sales literature, internal and external marketing publications, presentation materials, and training for any new product lines or extensions.
- Understand customer needs via field travel with sales personnel and effective market research, and translate that research into new products, product improvements, and line extensions.
- Develop training materials for internal and field personnel and conduct training activities accordingly. Evaluate field (customer and sales) feedback for product enhancements that meet customerroduct functional requirements.
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure business goals are met and deliver continued cost improvement while maintaining strong business relationships. Visit vendors to develop products and train personnel on all aspects of each product and its uses.
- Work closely with manufacturing and operations to oversee new production planning, surplus, backorders and substitutions.
- Build comprehensive clinical evidence plan based on desired marketing messaging, customer feedback, appropriate budget considerations, untapped opportunities within existing markets, opportunities to extend into new markets, and competitive clinical evidence activities.

Education - Bacheloregree in Marketing, Clinical, or Business field.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 5 years of marketing, sales, product management or clinical practice experience (preferably in the healthcare industry)
- Experience negotiating with outside vendors and internal resources
- Experience collecting and analyzing financial data
Additional
- Technical/clinical background / previous healthcare experience.
- Experience in reviewing and reconnecting on actions and with people to ensure the completion of the task.
- Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees.
- Experience in working through details of a problem, overcoming obstacles and reaching a positive and successful solution through mathematical or systematic operations.
- Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns)
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)
