Description JOB SUMMARY: Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:
Manages various Conservation and Load Management programs and projects on behalf of AVANGRID networks
companies with the objective of meeting mandated metrics and goals within budget.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
- Provides leadership for Conservation Load Management programs and projects within Customer Service.
- Prepares plans and budgets for programs and projects and coaches others to do so. Monitors progress against
plans and reports to senior management.
- Develops and manages vendor relationships responsible for implementation of programs.
- Coordinates efforts of cross-functional project teams. Holds regular program/project status meetings with internal
and external team members. Coaches and guides all team members. Resolves disputes. Delivers results on-time
and on budget results.
- Is the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides expertise and immediacy of
decision making. Holds project team members accountable for results.
- Effectively communicates with management for decision making outside of day-to-day program/project team
activities.
- Works directly with regulators and with other utilities, representing AVANGRID.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree with seven years relevant experience required.
- At least five years of program/project management experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
