Our sales team is growing at InfluxData and we have expanded our Sales Development efforts over the past year. We are now ready for our first Sales Development Manager to propel us to the next level.
Our ideal candidate has experience coming into an established SDR team with the ability to hit the ground running, taking over the day to day management of a very successful and motivated SDR team. You will work closely with sales and marketing ensuring we hit our very aggressive sales and marketing goals.
This role is based in Austin, TX.
What you'll be doing: - Lead the SDR team, ensuring they are able to articulate InfluxData's value and meet their goals
- Continue and foster a culture of teamwork, personal drive and achievement by setting realistic but stretch goals
- Act as coach and inspire the team
- Provide feedback on calls, engagement plans and ting to meetingi>
- Analyze metrics and data to implement positive changes to increase productivity across the group
- Manage and motivate the SDR team to attain goals in the assigned territory, including expanding the team by hiring new team members who fit our culture and values
What we're looking for: - 2 to 5 years experience in Outside Sales for a software business
- 1 to 3 years experience in SDR management, leading a successful team
- Metrics driven approach
- Experience in recruiting, training and leading successful sales individuals
- Experience creating/enabling growth paths for SDRs
- Excellent prospecting, presentation and networking skills
- Proven ability to build healthy relationships across all departments
It's a plus if you have:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- Experience in open source software or other modern platforms
