The Product Performance Manager can be based out of Indianapolis, IN or Tucker, GA
Purpose: To proactively support the Preprint sites, box plants and external customers current and future needs. Understand and plan for different customer applications of our products.
Organizational Authority:
- Designs and approves new systems and documents pertaining to the Customer Satisfaction element of Quality Management System.
- Maintains data integrity and the Preprint SharePoint site.
Organizational Interfaces:
- Provides feedback to the production teams to identify and eliminate the root cause(s) of repetitive quality problems.
- Provides guidance to sales and project management regarding further customer processing steps and specified needs/applications (IE slide angle, ink jet printing, etc.)
- Works with box plants and the customers to coordinate trials of new materials.
Works with box plant and external customers to investigate and resolve problems.
Responsibilities - Participating in facility safety initiatives. Committed to a safe work environment and ensures that all IP safety and health reliable methods and federal and state OSHA requirements are in place and followed.
- Receiving, investigating and assisting with the disposition of external customer complaints.
- Assisting personnel in identifying and eliminating quality problems.
- Designing and maintaining the Customer Satisfaction element of Quality system
- Capturing customer input on current and future needs.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with converting locations as specified according to the approved plan. Responsible for maintaining converting specifications.
- Assisting new preprint customer start-ups. (Documentation and physical presence.)
- Assisting with converting trials as needed.
- Developing/training facility employees on special customer needs/product applications.
- Performing special projects as assigned by the Complex General Manager and the District Quality Manager.
- Create and implement systems to improve run ability and efficiency of printing presses and affiliated equipment in a preprint operation. Assist to troubleshoot printing problems.
- Coordinates site efforts through Production Managers, and other container facility leadership to achieve targets related to Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Quality, On Time Delivery, Cost, Waste, and Earnings.
- Works with Site Leaders and suppliers to develop and implement short- and long-term plans to become a low-cost producer and preferred supplier for customers.
- Works within organizational structure, through personal involvement, to maximize performance and drive superior customer and employee satisfaction.

In depth understanding of customer processing steps relating to the conversion of corrugated preprint.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Education: BS or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum 4 yearsperience in production/sales management (Wide web printing and corrugated experience highly preferred), with concentration in flexographic printing, markets, customers and manufacturing processes, such as safety, environmental, inventory, quality and process reliability.
- Manufacturing Excellence ite Belt level or higher strong plus.
- Proven in-depth manufacturing knowledge including manufacturing processes and corrugating and converting equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Possess business and financial acumen including the understanding of key business drivers and leverage points, financial processes, cost controls and profitability factors
