Description Responsible for all operations in the Data Center and telecommunications departments including supervision of all data center and telecommunications personnel. Operate and maintain all servers in the Data Center which includes Mainframe, VAX, RS/6000, Netware, Windows NT and Windows. Operate and maintain all telecommunications and related equipment throughout the health system. Continually improve processes to increase customer satisfaction. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Insure computer operations and telecommunications operate at or under budget. Work proactively and continuously to reduce operating expenses. Maintain a clean, professional environment. Maintain a 100% uptime on all systems. Requirements Vocational / Technical / Business school in Computer Science. Total 2-5 years experience in a technical Systems Operations. 2-3 years experience in managing people. Experience managing 24-hour operations. Knowledge with mainframe (MVS), RS/6000 (AIX), VAX (VMS), Intel Servers (Netware, Windows NT), mainstream PC software.
