Description The management of day-to-day clinical practice of multiple clinic(s). Provides direction based upon clinical care best practice/quality to Clinical Staff. Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures and services for the clinic providing physician support and supervising clinical staff functions to ensure efficiency of the Physician Office. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff in conjunction with operational leadership. Able to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff. Will provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning and evaluating patients. Must be a registered nurse with at least 4 years of nursing experience in a related field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients in conjunction with providers. Collaborates with the Administrative Director, Clinic Managers and Associate Chief Nursing Officer regarding the daily clinical leadership for the division. Possesses exceptional customer service skills and fosters positive physician relationships. Serves as a staff role model by providing leadership that encourages teambuilding, communication, positive attitudes and change. Supports the practice of nursing by modeling best nursing practice. Makes clearly quality driven decisions; implementation in partnership with operational partner based on current evidenced-based nursing practice and adheres to regulations set by regulatory agencies. Works interdependently to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Assures that operational efficiency is framed in performance improvement standards. Supports and encourages a shared governance environment within the division and hospital. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Requirements Requirements: Texas RN License required Current BCLS, National certification in area of clinical specialty preferred Must obtain National certification in area of clinical specialty or leadership within 3 years BSN required MS in nursing or in related field preferred 4 years nursing experience and a minimum of 1 year in a clinic setting and 1 year of supervisory experience required 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years in clinic setting and 2 years of supervisory experience preferred Specialty areas may prefer specialty experience Must be able to utilize computer programs such as word, excel, and power point Experience with computerized documentation systems including EPIC preferred Experience with basic office equipment required Effective communication skills required Ability to analyze and interpret date required Demonstrate teambuilding skills Demonstrate performance/conduct counseling
