Job Summary: This company is currently looking for an Automation Engineer who will create PLC and robotic programs that will work together in a system. The engineer in this role will write PLC code from scratch, work on HMI screens, and interface with robots. *Robot programming training is available*. The Automation Engineer will also work collaboratively with Mechanical Designers to write and test programs and then put the systems into production at customer facilities.
Qualifications: - Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or other technical discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience is required: PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Rockwell), servo drives, HMIs, and safety systems.
- Background Fanuc or ABB robotic programming is a plus.
- Packaging machinery experience is a plus
- Ability to travel 10-15%
