Are you passionate about ray tracing and interactive computer graphics? NVIDIA is looking for talented software engineers to help build software systems that define the future of computer graphics.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer that is passionate about computer graphics. There has never been a more exciting time to join our team.
We develop a sophisticated platform called OptiX that is used for building interactive ray tracing applications for multiple domains (gaming, design and film). We develop new parallel algorithms, map them efficiently to GPU hardware, and continually make them more efficient. We utilize deep learning in new and exciting ways. You will join a team that creates and curates this platform.
You will define and develop new features for ray tracing. You will understand GPU architectures and design systems that achieve maximum performance and robustness for rendering tasks. You will take on complex problems efficiently and communicate regularly about challenges faced. Engineers that have a passion for image quality and performance will be ideally suited for this role.
You will engage with NVIDIA partners to successfully use OptiX. We will collaborate with them to implement ray tracing in their products. Based on these interactions, you will recommend ways that we can improve. You will also help improve methodologies for software craftsmanship throughout the team.
We also build extraordinary product demonstrations to highlight ray tracing technology, and you will collaborate with other team members to drive those efforts from concept to final product.
