We are now looking for a Senior Graph Software Engineer:
class="new_p"> At NVIDIA we pride ourselves on innovative software solutions, and our graph team is at the heart of this initiative. We are looking for an extraordinary software engineer who can translate algorithms into plain English, collect significant data insights, share learning swiftly and help shape business and product strategy. Location flexible; Austin, Texas preferred.
We are seeking someone with very strong mathematical and programming skills with a passion for elegant solutions, scripting & automation, a self-motivated, creative problem solver whose intellectual curiosity is balanced with a dose of skepticism and who cares deeply about the integrity of your work, from sanity checking every code change, to the grammar of your data visualizations and documentation.
What yoube doing:
Design and code solutions for graph analytics using the CUDA language, using modern software development methodology. You love to code and write tests to demonstrate features. * Perform daily test review and analysis tasks to identify regressions and issues in quality, performance and reliability.
- Perform additional test analysis to eliminate unknowns and isolate the issue for corrective action: When does the problem occur? Where does it occur and under what conditions?
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams from business to product to engineering to diagnose code, build and test issues and spec future software needs with a keen focus on automation. You hate doing things twice.
- Implement key performance measurements, investigate anomalies, file actionable bug reports, and monitor progress to completion
- Work with the latest analytics & deep learning technologies like Kafka, Spark, Neural Nets, MapD, Anaconda
What we need to see: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field, Ph.D. preferred. 5 or more years of relevant work/research experience.
- You have extensive data engineering and automation skills using python scripting, SQL and NoSQL query languages
- Experience implementing quality, reliability, performance measurements and executing successful improvement initiatives
- Strong software engineering skill; significant contribution to complex software stacks.
- Excellent quality and automated testing skills
- Strong communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights
Ways to stand out from the crowd: Background or experience working with Spark, SPARQL or Tinkerpop. * You have experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks using Theano, Caffe, TensorFlow, SparkML etc.
- A history of contributions to open source and/or public GitHub.
