Tetra Tech BAS is seeking a full-time, Civil Engineer in our Diamond Bar, CA office to perform Project Management activities. As a Project Manager you oversee and project status and development and will contribute design concepts and when needed provide construction management of field activates. You will be working directly with clients, senior engineers, department leaders and other operating units within Tetra Tech.
- Create project schedules and tracking
- Project financial monitoring
- Budget control and client payment
- Perform engineering as required and work directly with CADD drafters throughout engineering project development
- Technical review of various design documents
Coordination with field technicians and review of collected data * Perform technical analysis on solid waste and landfill gas projects
- Work in all phases of a project from investigation, design to construction/remediation
- Prepare construction plans and specifications
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Prepare proposals, present to clients and regulators and develop ongoing relationships
- Prepare permit documents and environmental reports for regulatory compliance
Qualifications - Bachelorr Masteregree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
- PE certification or ability to become licensed within 1 year
- 5 yearsperience in landfill gas / solid waste industry
- Proven skills in design and/or construction of landfills
- Experience working with clients and budgets
- CADD and Civil 3D a plus
- Knowledge of emission factors, gas process engineering and ISC-AERMOD highly desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
