POSITION SUMMARY As a member of Aetna's Engineering team, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to engineer and maintain enterprise wide Identity Federation solutions to enable Single Sign-On for a Fortune 50 company. These federated trusts will span web based, API based, and cloud based platforms/technologies.
Fundamental Components:
As a Federation Engineer, you will learn to create, maintain and troubleshoot Federated Trusts using IBM API-C, CA SiteMinder, Microsoft Azure, Ping Federate, and Microsoft ADFS. Under general direction, collaborates with Technology and Business teams to design Single Sign-On solutions between various business applications and related applications at 3rd party companies and SAAS cloud based solutions. Assists in engineering IAM solutions in an enterprise class hybrid cloud environment.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Four-year college degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with key encryption/management technologies PKI and Certificate management - Cloud data protection - Cloud identity & access management - Network and file based encryption solutions. Ability to develop solid working relationships with peers in other technology or business areas. Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Becomes knowledgeable on critical components of the technology environment and applies skills gained to work assignments.
EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
The IT Technical Training Program is a 24 month rotational program targeted at earlier-in-career talent. This job is specific to the Federation Engineering track. Rotation tracks have been developed to provide a path for members to follow as they journey towards their final placement. The paths are intended to ensure that members are exposed to the many different skills they will need upon completion of the program. Within these tracks, all program members will be supported by rotation managers as well as senior level mentors. Rotation length can vary but are typically 6 months long and all program members will go through an initial onboarding orientation as well as various core trainings throughout the life of the program.
