Raytheon is looking for a Sr Information Assurance Test Engineer to join the Raytheon Global Positioning System Next Generation Operational System (GPS OCX) supporting the Integration and Test Information Assurance Cross Product Team (CPT) in Aurora, Colorado.
System/Software Test Engineer responsibilities include, but not limited to,
Independently define, analyze and interpret system requirements for a complex software and hardware subsystem.
Identify and resolve conflicting issues for requirement decomposition.
Determine system steps for test procedure development with comprehensive knowledge of assigned test procedure.
Conduct system test execution for requirement verification with configuration management techniques with quality and customer oversight.
Participate in test readiness reviews, participate in design reviews, and conduct audits of test programs and facilities.
Use a broad knowledge of precedents in test engineering and apply understanding of principles of related engineering and software technology to ensure test validity and integrity.
Required Skills: - Experience preparing test procedures and conducting test procedure execution
- Experience using UNIX, Windows, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience specifying test verification requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills: - Experience developing scripts to support test efforts for the software build cycles
- Knowledge of or experience with Web Services and/or Object Oriented design
- Experience using Test Automation tools
- Knowledge of or experience with Eclipse and JavaScript (including JQuery)
- Experience in Java programming language on a Unix/Linux platform
- Preparing for and conducting security testing for government witnesses
- Knowledge of the GPS OCX program mission management subsystem and/or command and control subsystem
- Experience with satellite launch systems
- Familiarity with DOORS
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline with minimum 6+ years of test experience
