CGI Federal has an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Test Engineer. This person will provide subject matter expertise on planning and execution of Cyber Security Testing to the COLUMBIA Class Submarine Program Office (NAVSEA PMS397).
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Advise COLUMBIA Class Technical, Command/ Control/ Communications/ Computers/ Intelligence (C4I), and Warfare Requirements and Test Division Directors on adequacy of cybersecurity test events proposed for Developmental as well as Operational Testing Events.
- Serve as technical liaison to the Developmental Testing Agent at NUWC as well as the Operational Testing Agent at COTF during test planning and execution.
- Provide technical support to both program offices in the drafting and promulgation of Acquisition and Test and Evaluation (T&E) documents, to include Cybersecurity Strategy (CSS), T&E Strategy (TES) as well as T&E Master Plan (TEMP).
- Support development of NAVSEA and Program Office Cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Navy directives.
- Represent the Program Offices in NAVSEA Cybersecuity forums.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity testing tools and processes.
- Experience with systems and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.
- Ability to maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Programs skills
Desired Skills: - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics field and 10 years of related operational experience with equivalent technical training, OR, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) (any level) certification in Information Technology, Test and Evaluation or Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering desired.
- Working knowledge of the NAVSEA acquisition process.
- Experience with U.S. Navy Submarine Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) systems
- Experience with U.S. Navy Submarine Combat Control and Sonar systems.
- Possess CISSP and Certified Ethical Hacker credentials
