Job Summary AECOM is currently seeking Mechanical/Electronic Engineer Technicians at Tobyhanna, Pa.
- Performs professional work in research, development, design, testing, analysis, production, construction, maintenance, operation, planning, estimating, or standardization of facilities, systems, structures, processes, equipment, devices, or materials, and requiring knowledge of the art and science of engineering.
- Prepares schematics, layouts and diagrams.
- Develops design solutions and prepares relevant procurement and design documentation.
- Develops Bill of Materials and Routes for production items.
- Utilizes Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) and associated Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD)
- software approved by TYAD (Pro Engineer and AutoCAD).
- Documents work efforts including Test Procedures, Engineering Change Proposals, specifications/standards, etc.
- Possesses a high proficiency of verbal and written communication; communicates with engineers, technicians, management, and customers regarding technical solutions.
- Prepares technical reports and papers concerning results and findings of studies and presents findings to management, engineers and shops personnel.
- Interacts in a team environment with a diverse technical work force.
- May be required to travel to other installations to provide technical analysis and solutions.
- Performs a wide variety of duties of complex nature in the installation, modification and operation of equipment; tests and repairs electronic/mechanical systems and sub-systems, performs bench tests, uses standard electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, volt meters, etc.); build, install, monitor, test and service equipment and systems at company and client sites.

Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED, 2-year advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in related field; no less than three years specific experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
Travel may be required to conduct site visits and analyze engineering problems, proposes solutions and recommendations.
Must be U.S. Citizen and able to pass / maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications Active clearance is strongly preferred
