MSX International is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to define, develop, launch and support connected vehicle features globally. The successful candidateust have the following skills and experience:
- Responsible for production support of current features/enablers in the vehicle and services ecosystem
- Works with strategic teams to migrate features to new vehicle programs
- Works with verification teams, plants and customers to triage root cause and resolve issues
- Supports and works with cross functional groups to develop interoperability interfaces across sub systems and translate them into sub system level requirements for building state-of-the-art connected vehicle systems architecture
- Provides guidance and inputs for feature design verification plans working with requirements engineering teams and feature owners
- Responsible for supporting production issues and management tools to multiple sub systems
- Maintaining open requirements issue list, review, track and report on progress and status in the project management tools
- Issues change requests when necessary, champion CR's through the process and ensures all impacted documents are updated upon approval of CRs
- Thorough understanding of interoperability techniques and standards for information technology systems
- Strong knowledge of Database Design, SQL Quires and hands-on implementation creating ad-hock reports and data analysis with excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks on hand by evaluating long term implications
- Two years plus experience business analyst, database design, SQL quires, product engineering or software development
- Two years plus experience in creating/managing documentations and issues list on SharePoint
- Three plus years of experience in production support and release engineering

- Above all willingness to dive into details to solve system integration challenges
- Knowledge of vehicle to cloud connectivity or knowledge of Internet of Things
- Experience with vehicle telematics, cellular communications, telematics service providers, in-vehicle connectivity features implementations, cloud architecture, data analytics, V2V communications, embedded telecommunication devices
- Good knowledge of XML, SOAP, REST, UML, Message Flows, SOA, Security, and Messaging concepts
Education Required: - BS engineering or computer science or strongly related discipline
- MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering disciplines preferred
