- Assist to plan, organize, develop and implement the activity program in accordance with the current federal, state regulations and local standards to ensure that an ongoing program meets the interests, the physical, the mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the facility from Adolescent to Geriatrics.
- Implement an activity program and social functions that are of interest, age appropriate and individualized for resident population.
Education/Experience: - High school diploma required.
- Previous experience in geriatric, medical or surgical preferred.
- Experience dealing with the public required.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Must have completed or be able to complete (120 hours) activity training course approved by the State of South Dakota.
- Must be willing to obtain SD certified nurse assistant licensure by completing and passing coursework, or currently hold a SD CNA license.
