The Arm Mbed IoT Platform provides the operating system, cloud services, tools and developer ecosystem to enable the creation and deployment of commercial, standards-based IoT solutions possible at scale. The cloud services provide a wide range of capabilities including Device Management, Data Digest, etc.

The role will be based in San Jose with minimal travel to other Arm sites, customers and partners.
What will I be Accountable for?
This is a unique opportunity for you to become part of a new team and mentor the team bringing to bear your previous experiences. Youpromote technical excellence, deliver high-quality software and develop an environment where talented engineers can excel. You will also help the manager of the team bring high caliber A-Players to the organization by participating in the hiring process.
As data becomes an integral part of the IoT eco system, you'll enable these applications&analytics to be built with a rich set of services. Given our current focus on the Utilities/Transportation/Logistic/Connected Spaces verticals, you'll help implement the pertinent data ingestion, data pipelines, time series services in Hybrid Cloud architecture. As we understand customer use cases and technology needs change rapidly, you should have dynamic approaches to problem-solving and creative thinking coupled with an appreciation of the diverse technologies used to deliver solutions in this market.
In return, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with customers operating in an agile environment to deliver functionality with cutting-edge technologies. We work within a DevOps culture, so you will share responsibility for deploying and operating the services you create.
Job Requirements What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?
- You've experience developing a part of Enterprise IoT platform and good understanding of the data needs for these use-cases.
- You have strong familiarity with few of the open-source components in the data/messaging world like kafka/mqtt/beam/flink/apex/spark, etc.
- Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of Web-related standards and protocols (HTTP, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP).
- You have used Cloud hosting platforms within a production environment.
- You have experience with continuous integration workflows, version control, and both functional and unit testing
- Experience with databases, queues, clusters, key/value stores and service-oriented infrastructures.
- You have an interest in mentoring or managing a team.
- You can articulate your ideas and work with non-technical stakeholders to deliver them.
- Ideally experience with infrastructure and deployment tools such as Docker, Terraform or Ansible.
- You are an accomplished developer in Java/Go/C or any other programming language.
