Job Description McCain Foods USA, Inc. is offering a summer internship for the summer of 2018 at its Appleton, WI Prepared Foods Divisional Office. McCain Foods USA, Inc., is a subsidiary of McCain Foods Limited, the leading processor of frozen potato products and appetizers in the world with more than 55 processing plants spanning six continents.
Job Responsibilities As a Process Engineer Summer Intern you will be responsible for process line efficiency analysis, assist in plant scale tests and commercialization of new products, line extensions, and product improvements. You will be performing process activities in a team environment. Interactions with disciplines such as Product Development, Tech Services, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing will also be an important part of the job.
Qualified candidates will have strong analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills. A cooperative attitude and the ability to function as part of a larger team are required. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with at least two years of undergraduate experience who can apply theoretical learning in the areas of engineering and food processing to solve diverse and challenging problems in a fast paced environment.
