This internship position is with our Verification Group.
What you will learn:
The intern will be involved in data collection, analysis and machine learning tasks using the Machine Learning platform infrastructure. They would be exposed to:
- Storing data into and querying databases like Apache Cassandra
- Running distributed algorithms on Apache Spark cluster
- Running machine learning algorithms using Scikit-learn, MLLIb, TensorFlow etc.
The intern will be analyzing real data, generated by Synopsys tools and using machine learning techniques, use the data to improve the performance, quality and/or usability of Synopsys tools. They would need to scale their algorithms to handle the large volume of data generated, and in doing so they would test and improve the efficiency of the Synopsys ML pipeline.
They would also be expected to test and improve different components in the ML Platform stack, and devise methods to increase robustness of the entire system.
Skill Requirements: Good software skills are must. Experience in data analysis and machine learning is desirable. Must have extensive coding experience with either C++, Java or Python
Education Requirements: Completed or Pursuing Master's degree in Computer Science. Exceptional candidates, with ML experience, and pursuing BS will be considered.
