Sr. DevOps and Automation Engineer
You will be in charge of our continuous integration and delivery pipeline, providing tools and infrastructure for deployment automation. You will work closely with developers and release engineers to ensure that the Vuforia Chalk mobile application and cloud services continue to enable AR video collaboration for a worldwide audience.
Responsibilities: - Implement and improve continuous integration and deployment infrastructure, tools, and practices.
- Design and build tools for testing, deployment, monitoring and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
- Contribute to the design and development of our scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance cloud services using cutting-edge SaaS solutions
Job Requirements: - 3+ years of experience configuring jobs on Jenkins, TeamCity, or comparable CI tools
- 1+ years of experience implementing DevOps tools and infrastructure, including
oTools for continuous test, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
oTools for developers to effectively run, deploy, monitor and maintain cloud services
- 3+ years of experience in at least one modern programming language such as C++, Java, or JavaScript, with overall excellent programming and code understanding skills
- Experience with Docker, RESTful APIs, and cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, ELK, RightScale, Azure, and cloud service APIs such as the AWS API
- Strong background in software development, experience with distributed systems, and experience with Linux and shell or Python scripting
- Proactive communication and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Requirements: - M.S. in Computer Science or related area
- Experience with Git,
- Working with geographically distributed teams,
- Experience with Agile development workflows
- Experience with network protocols such as WebSockets or multimedia streaming
- Background in cloud computing, large-scale systems, AR, VR, computer vision
